About Me
For nearly 20 years, I've helped businesses navigate critical transactions, complex disputes, and cross-border matters. As both a practicing attorney and entrepreneur who has founded multiple companies, I understand business from both sides of the table—not just the legal issues, but the practical realities of cash flow, growth pressures, and strategic decisions.

Raised in the US with deep roots in the Asian business community, I bring a unique perspective to business law: native fluency in both American legal culture and Asian business practices. This isn't about translation—it's about understanding what a contract means in Taipei versus what it means in Boston, and bridging that gap for clients on both sides.

My practice focuses on three areas where legal sophistication meets business reality:

Business Transactions & Contracts - From entity formation to multi-million dollar deals, I structure transactions that protect clients while allowing business to move forward. Whether you're a Boston startup or an Asian company entering the US market, you get sophisticated counsel without big firm overhead.
Commercial Litigation & Disputes - When deals go wrong or partners conflict, I bring nearly 20 years of trial experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants. I've tried cases in state and federal court, conducted litigation entirely in Mandarin, and recovered large sums for clients while defending others against unfounded claims.
International & Cross-Border - I handle the complex intersection of US and Asian business, from market entry and regulatory compliance to cross-border transactions and disputes. Recent work includes successfully removing an international company from the US Entity List through regulatory advocacy with the Department of Commerce.
